@lissa: Those are Chinese Roosters on the plate. A lot of the china I inherited that is Chinese has roosters.
Still pretty even though they are chipped... I'd still hang on to them too!!

It's sad especially if an older, much used plated gets chipped after it has been intact a long time. See my Photo Hunt too. These are pretty plates.
